About me – I joined Scholes CA in 2011, my first full time job, after spending two years at Napier University studying accountancy with finance. I have completed the AAT level 8 qualification in 2013 and moved straight into studying for an ACCA qualification. I gained full membership to ACCA in January 2016.
What I do at Scholes – Most of my time is spent preparing company, charity, sole trader and partnership accounts, as well as undertaking company and charity audits. I also prepare management accounts, VAT returns and forecasts for business planning. Finally, I am also responsible for mentoring some of the trainee accountants, helping them with their work in the office and ACCA studies.
More about me – Outside of work, I enjoy playing football (trying to anyway!) for my local teams, Dounby and Birsay. I also play an occasional round of golf during the summer months, when the weather permits!
