About me - I knew I wanted to be an accountant from 3rd year of high school and continued on this path obtaining a BA with Honours at Strathclyde University. After leaving university, I spent 10 years working in the accountancy sector in accounts preparation, taxation and advisory roles, obtaining my ACCA qualification in 2014.
What I do at Scholes - As part of the accounts team at Scholes, the majority of my time is spent preparing the accounts of clients, including companies, sole traders and partnerships. I also assist with the undertaking of company and charity audits.
More about me - Most of my free time is currently taken up with family time, spending time with my wife, daughter and son. When I do get the chance, I have a keen interest in attending live performances be that live sport (of many forms), music or theatre (the latter of which I generally attend with my wife Louise who also happens to be an accountant).
