On behalf of myself and the other Directors, I want to offer a massive congratulations to all of the Scholes CA team!
We’ve been shortlisted for the Accounting Excellence Awards in the Mid-Tier Firm of the Year category.
The awards themselves are one of the best acknowledgements accountancy firms can get and we’re really proud of everyone in our team for their hard work – I’m sure you’ve all contributed to us getting this recognition.
I believe it exemplifies the fantastic service we offer to our clients and the expert advice we provide based on years of experience and the specialist knowledge we possess.
Winning awards is not our primary objective (although we love it when we do!), rather it is the constant commitment to the people we help.
Whether it’s our clients in the renewable energy sector helping to combat global warming, our agricultural clients who work so hard to put food on our plates, or the small businesses we’re guiding through growth and entrepreneurship – we work for them all.
The accounting profession in Scotland is something special and we’re very proud to be a part of it.
I’d like to wish good luck to the other finalists who, as fellow accountants, are all playing their part in the forwarding of our common goals and constantly raising professional standards.
With Karen’s role at ICAS and our sterling work, we’re at the forefront of the field and continue to draw talented individuals into our ranks.
Having said that, I think the shortlisting demonstrates the genuinely excellent team we already have at Scholes, from the tax advisers to the bookkeepers, the administrators to the payroll department.
Each of you have had an impact on this award shortlisting and we should all be very proud of our achievement!
