Scholes CA recently assisted in the successful transfer of ownership of the Corporate Christmas Tree Company Ltd, trading as Christmas Direct, into an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).
Christmas Direct is known for supplying high-quality festive trees and decorations to businesses and organisations across the UK, and was previously privately owned.
The transition to employee ownership allows the business to aim for continued stability and growth, while safeguarding the company's core values and long-term vision.
Ivan Houston, Director at Scholes CA, assisted Christmas Direct with the tax considerations of the transition and worked closely with the company’s founders to ensure a smooth handover.
